Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 220 C / Gas 7. Line baking tray with baking parchment.
  2. Cream the butter with sugar, until light and fluffy.
  3. Add flour until well combined.
  4. Roll to the desired thickness and cut into shapes
  5. Prick the top of the shortbread with a fork, if desired.
  6. Place on prepared tray and bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until slightly golden.
  7. Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.
