Instructions
- Preheat oven to 220 C / Gas 7. Line baking tray with baking parchment.
- Cream the butter with sugar, until light and fluffy.
- Add flour until well combined.
- Roll to the desired thickness and cut into shapes
- Prick the top of the shortbread with a fork, if desired.
- Place on prepared tray and bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until slightly golden.
- Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.
